Another exhibition on Lin Yaokai's work is on at the moment in Brussels. I showed some of his work earlier on. Yesterday he told me in an interview how he works and how art work is part of his life. Of this painting above he told me: "When I had painted it I saw this thing was moving". That is a fine way of describing his paintings. The power or qi in his work is overwhelming.
