'Peking university' or 'Beijing daxue', short 'Beida' is considered the best university in China. Many Chinese dream of studying here or having their son or daughter studying here.

In Summertime lots of tourists flock to the university - whole families - just to visit this grand place. Many of them have their picture taken in front of the impressive library, in the hope that one day its doors will open up to them.
