Solar energy is becoming more and more popular in China, even in the far out areas. Today I read an article about a solar power station in the mountains of Yunnan in the South West of China. I took these pictures in the North West of China. Throughout the vast deserted landscapes in China solar power stations start to pop up. Shi zhengrong built one of the world's biggest solar power companies: Suntech Power.
